Camper Trailer Awards

The NSW (CCIA) caravan and camper trailer industry award night was held this week at the Hunter valley vineyards.

Exodus Campers featured prominently again this year in the category of the best manufacturer of Caravan / camper trailers

Exodus Campers made it through to one of two finalist companies on the big screen.

Unfortunatly Exodus did not take out the best manufacturer this year, however we are extremely proud to have been recognised as a finalist in these major industry awards for two consecutive years.

Good news for Camper Trailer buyers in NSW.

As of July 2009 the stamp duty on the purchase of new camper trailers has been abolished.

The NSW Caravan and Camping Industry Association has been working on this now for quite some time.

The end result is that taking delivery of a new Exodus Barrington camper trailer in NSW is now around $1200 less and a Exodus Kingston camper trailer will be $1800 less.

Welcome to the NEW Exodus Website

Welcome to the new vision in camping, “Exodus Campers“. At Exodus Campers we have been studying modern trends in the camping industry in order to develop a camping trailer to suit the demands of Australian campers.

Traditional canvas flip over campers have been very popular for many years, however it became obvious from our experience that a new concept in camping trailers was long overdue. Our challenge at Exodus Campers was to build a crossover camper trailer that provided its owners with maximum comforts and value for money.

The Exodus Camper has a fibreglass composite body and hard top, manufactured using high technology marine grade materials. This provides a “shell” which is aerodynamic, super strong, totally waterproof and extremely light weight. The exterior is of a high gloss gelcoat finish, whilst the interior is fitted out to the high standards used in luxury yachts.

The most important principle we have followed at Exodus Campers is, keep it simple. On many campers we have inspected we found a mass of unnecessary engineering. Some have a maze of working parts, including tracking systems, pulley wheels, bearings, hydraulics, intricate hinges, cranks, steel cables, bushes, slides etc.

When operating these devices we found many did not function well on even the newest of campers. This raised the question of what happens when you are a day or two from nowhere and any one of these components fail. You may be left with a camper jammed open unable to be towed, or jammed shut unable to be used. We could not think of a worse situation to spoil your long planned trip.

On inspection of the Exodus Camper you will soon realise how modern technology can be so simple. When setting up your Exodus Camper, the only moving parts are marine grade stainless steel hinges, stainless steel latches and standard automotive gas struts. These few parts are serviceable no matter where you are using basic tools and minimal skill. This will ensure your trip will be trouble free and extremely enjoyable.
